Audio Adapters Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How do I know if my device has a standard or proprietary headset jack?
A. If your cellular phone
or device did not come with a headset adapter, then it is always best to select
"Proprietary" for your headset jack type, just to be on the safe side.
We will know which audio adapter to send you, and email you first if your
selection is ambiguous (for example, if your device has two different ways to
connect to a corded headset) or for any other issues.
Q. How long is the warranty on your audio adapters?
A. Our audio adapters are guaranteed for 90 days
unless otherwise stated on the item's page. Please see our Warranty
rules for details.
Q. I am not sure whether my phone has stereo capabilities or not. How will your
audio adapter behave if my phone is mono?
A. In most cases, you will have the same audio signal on both channels if your
phone does not have stereo capabilities, although in some cases only one of the
channel will produce an audio signal.
Q. I see that in some cases you may send an audio adapter with embedded button
and mic, at your sole discretion. How to I know which one I'll receive?
A. Please email
us if you must know ahead of time.
